Each Wednesday morning at Church in the City/Beth Abraham, A Stronger Cord hosts the church’s “Morning Manna.” It’s a time to engage those experiencing homelessness and encourage them to try a different path. There’s music, conversation, devotion, food and lots of sports talk. Most of those we serve are men. Guess what? Whether you’re black, white or brown, live in a mission, mansion or on Main Street? If you’re a dude? YOU LIKE SPORTS! If you’re out there thinking, “How could I give back to the community in a meaningful way?” Please accept this as a personal invitation to join us. Each Wednesday morning, 8-9am. One hour. Join the Knuckleheads as we serve those experiencing homelessness and encourage them to take a leap of faith in building a stronger cord to their families, purpose and communities. Need more info?
