Our Mission
A Stronger Cord is dedicated to serving the isolated, vulnerable and displaced with wellness. The marginalized in our communities come from all walks of life including the addicted, incarcerated, elderly and at-risk. It’s real simple: we surround others in those crab pots and LOVE ON THEM. ASC encourages all participants to embrace exercise, relationship building and community service. To embrace being, “More fit, connected and giving.” Healthier in mind, body and spirit. That’s a cord of three strands not easily broken.
At the end of the day, ASC is trying to encourage others to embrace the value of being a fitness-minded, dependable and productive human being who seeks a stronger cord to families, purpose and communities.
