When the weather calls for it, A Stronger Cord is the host agency at the Severe Weather Shelter’s “Warming site” at Giving Heart in Englewood. Volunteers gather from 5:30-7:30pm to engage with those experiencing homelessness waiting to board vans to an area church where they will eat and sleep on frigid nights. It’s a wonderful way to give comfort and connect with the less fortunate. Join us!
